Tough day today My eldest, who is educated, intelligent and a business owner. I texted my adult kid and innocently said that some numbers of Covid19 were going down. Not sure what happened, but next thing you know my eldest is telling me i'm biased and have my tongue up POTUS's ass and that people are going to be buried in central park. I have always avoided political conversations this grown child.I'm just really sad and hurt that my kid would say some of the things they did. I'm tired of walking on eggshells to "save the realtionship" I've decided for now to just remove myself from their life. The stuff that was being spouted cut me to the bone. I've hit that point of just walking away and I can't believe I would to that to my own kid.
