Not to burst anyone's bubbles, but the search for hashes in the Wikileaks dump isn't because the hashes themselves are being referrenced, it has to do with how the search function works on the Wikileaks database.

Try this for yourself, take any MD5 hash you want and search for it on Wikileaks. Now go up to the URL and change the searched MD5 to anything else you want, just part of it, put the word "Frog" or "cat" or whatever you want, and hit enter, and it'll pull up the same email.

When the Wikileaks search can't find an exact match, it checks the left-most numerical value and pulls that Email by default. So if you search for "1ABCDEFG", unless "1ABCDEFG" shows up exactly as that, it'll pull up Email number 1 in the Wikileaks dump instead.
