They're trying to hide him from public scrutiny right now. They wouldn't even say "from the Obama administration" yesterday. Just "from the previous administration" I'm sure they're doing more than checking Instagram on their phones during the press conferences. Maybe there's some pretty strict talking point instructions to not mention him.
