The Trump administration's effort to resume federal executions got a boost on Tuesday from a U.S. appeals court, which tossed a district judge's injunction that blocked four death penalty sentences from being carried out.

although I'm no fan of quarantine, I also dont want it to end til [they] are done in, (even though we are watching it after the fact). What about the free energy, the reduction of the tax stranglehold, the cures, etc etc? No possible way all of that will be implemented before Good Friday. And if ending by Good Friday, why send out stimulus checks that havent even been sent out yet. (might as well keep ours, Q- will just have to hand it back to you in tax payment)

Dallas County commissioners vote to limit judge Clay Jenkins’ emergency powers

Commissioners voted on an amendment to require Jenkins to notify commissioners before placing any more restrictions on essential businesses without first notifying them and giving them a chance to call a meeting. The amendment also requires him to get a majority vote before extending his shelter-in-place order past April 30.

The unanimous vote came after several tense exchanges between Jenkins and several commissioners. Jenkins abstained from supporting a part of the amendment that required him to get approval from commissioners to extend the shelter-in-place order.

Why isn’t car insurance cheaper as we all stay home?

It’s a fair point. Why should anyone have to pay the same amount to insure something when their risk is greatly reduced?

I reached out to every major vehicle insurer. Some have recognized the changed circumstances, others have not.

On Monday, Allstate said it will give its customers a 15% break on their monthly premiums for April and May.

The company said it will return more than $600 million to policyholders through credits to their bank accounts, credit cards or Allstate accounts.

“This is fair because less driving means fewer accidents,” said Allstate’s chief executive, Tom Wilson.

He also said the company will offer free identity-theft protection through the end of the year to any U.S. resident as people increasingly live their lives online. You don’t have to be an Allstate customer to qualify.

American Family Insurance, a smaller Midwestern firm, announced a similar program Monday, pledging to return about $200 million to customers.

Other vehicle insurers still seem to be wrestling with doing right by policyholders versus doing right by shareholders.

Trump Installs Ejection Seats Throughout Press Briefing Room

Controlled by a panel on Trump's podium, the ejection seats allow him to instantly send any White House reporter on a free trip to somewhere a few hundred yards down Pennsylvania Avenue. Any journalist parroting Chinese propaganda, insulting the president, or asking a question without referring to Trump as "His Majesty Donald Trump May He Live Forever" is likely to get a free flight courtesy of the White House.

"Mr. President, why do you hate AmericaaaaaaaaAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" screamed one reporter as Trump solemnly pressed a button and sent her rocketing through the roof. Stunned journalists stared in shock at their colleague soaring hundreds of feet into the air. They were speechless, which was a "welcome change" according to sources.

Jim Acosta tried to chime in next, but Trump had already pushed his button before he got any words out. "Looks like Jim Acosta's blasting off agaaaaaaaaain!!!!" the CNN reporter cried as he disappeared in a little twinkle in the sky.

"Anyone else?" Trump asked quietly, looking around the room but not seeing any hands go up. "Great. Then we'll end this shindig early. Tremendous job out there, today, journalists. You're all American heroes."
