London Pics
on Northumberland Avenue
Bollards on land.
Bollards for moorings.
Bollards signify traffic hazards.
Not slang but a substitute for slang, too.
Pic related.
Also attached is a very large graphic. It will be posted again, in pieces (x6) for easier viewing. Details are important and so is accessibility.
The graphic illustrates that the bollards on traffic islands help to date Q's London Pics that feature Northumberland Avenue and The Corinthia Hotel.
Prior to the summer of 2014 there was a fatal traffic accident. Moar digging is needed on this event to establish the date moar precisely. For now, we can observe that the hazard bollards on the islands changed over the years. Changes that occurred in the aftermath of the accident did not appear in Q's Pics on Northumberland.
Note that there had been two Cycle Hire docking stations at this location. It appears in Street View images of 2012 but not in 2014. (No images are available for 2013.) In Q's pics only one of these docking stations remained. Its color scheme has gone from blue to red since April 2015 when Santandar took over from Barclay's.
So we have two bookends. The Northumberland pics were taken after May 2012 and the removal of the second docking station; and before the changed traffic bollards on the islands in the summer of 2014.
These pics were taken in winter months of 2013/2014.
Note that PS appeared in one of these Q pics. Can you find him. Lower left corner of frame.
I'll try to post the images in this bread but will continue next bread to complete the set.
