I have been discussing a theory with some friends and family lately, and am interested to know if any of you have any sauce which may lend credence to our theory.
The Salem Witch Trials.
Is it plausible that they were a small scale version of what we are about to go through with the DS? Could history have been written to favor the idea that the "normal" folk were just crazy, and all of those killed weren't actually witches? Wouldn't it make more sense that the trials were carried out to rid their society of an evil which was forced into the light…?
Thoughts?
