Kissinger's Call for a New World Order, again…

Among the works that first brought Henry Kissinger to academic acclaim was A World Restored, his 1950s book about how the greatest diplomats of Europe met at the Congress of Vienna to restore order to a continent shattered by the Napoleonic Wars.

The balance-of-power peace these men achieved lasted—with the significant exception of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871—for the full century, from 1815 to 1914.

Writing in The Wall Street Journal Friday, Kissinger declared that it is now an imperative that the world's leaders, even as they deal with the raging pandemic, begin to make the "transition to the post-coronavirus order."

"Failure to do so could set the world on fire."

Yet, the ingredients Kissinger considers essential for establishing that new world order appear, like ventilators, to be in short supply.

"Sustaining public trust," asserts Kissinger, "is crucial…to international peace and stability."

But how do we trust again our adversary China, after its criminal cover-up of the menace and magnitude of the virus unleashed in Wuhan?

How do we trust again this regime that was, until recently, blaming the coronavirus on U.S. Army troops visiting Wuhan?

South Korea Considering Tracking COVID-19 Patients With GPS-Enabled Bracelet

The South Korean government is mulling the introduction of electronic bracelets that connect to one’s phone and would allow authorities to better track the movements of people ordered to self-quarantine due to the COVID-19 novel coronavirus.

While South Korea has made much progress in slowing the spread of the novel coronavirus, there are still 46,566 individuals currently under self-quarantine orders - which officials increasingly fear that many may be violating, according to the Korea Times.

"Self-quarantine is very important to stop the spread of the coronavirus. And for the most part, people comply well with the self-quarantine rules. But some have violated the rules and left their homes, and this is forcing the government to take action," senior health ministry official Yoon Tae Ho said on Tuesday during a daily meeting on COVID-19 in Sejong, South Korea.

I spent decades as a covert CIA operative – this is my new mission

As someone who spent a career in the shadowy world of intelligence, I have a deep understanding and respect for the value and importance to our national security of espionage and the intelligence community.

After retiring, I now have a new mission and I want to explain why.

Over the previous decades, I have observed the Intelligence Community turn away from its core responsibilities for the safety and security of all Americans to a far more political agenda. The intelligence community’s (IC) quadrennial report about global trends published in 2017 is a poster child example of what is wrong with intelligence today. It overwhelmingly focuses on things like global government integration to face future issues. It argues the positives of what is known today as the globalist movement, a hardcore leftist philosophy that is deeply political. Perhaps even more revealing, the document spends more time and focus on global warming than it does on terrorism. Even if you believe in the concepts of globalization and global warming these are political issues, not intelligence issues. The IC is here to obtain important information about what other countries and hostile groups are doing and should not have an opinion on or any involvement with the formation of policies. They must remain neutral and report the facts as they come, that is their one and only job. The fact that the IC not only takes political positions but promotes certain policies, shows stunning incompetence but even worse a complete lack of understanding of why we even have an IC.

COVID-19 Computer Models Continue To Deteriorate

Reminiscent of erroneous global warming computer models, those created by overzealous Technocrats for COVID-19 have proven to be just as bad, but because they are ‘scientists’, they will not be held accountable for their folly. ⁃ TN Editor

The number of people hospitalized across the United States as a result of the novel coronavirus illness (COVID-19) is reportedly only a fraction of what some health experts projected a few days ago.

On Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told reporters that in his state alone, the epicenter of the viral outbreak in the United States, new coronavirus hospitalizations dropped by about 75 percent, from 1,427 four days ago to 358 on Sunday.

Highlighting the drop in new hospitalizations in NY, the state hardest hit (131,239 cases; 4,758 deaths as of Monday) by the coronavirus, Alex Berenson, former New York Times reporter who has been following the U.S. outbreak closely, observed on Twitter on Monday: “It’s over, guys. It’s already over.”

Jim Malatras, an aide for Gov. Cuomo, reportedly indicated that projections are now showing that New York is unlikely to need 110,000 hospital beds, as previously thought.

The new forecasts show “a much lower demand” that stands in the estimated 20,000-30,000 range, Jesse McKinley, the New York Times bureau chief in the NY capital of Albany, wrote on Twitter on Monday.

Don't tell me this is the suicide weekend Q was referring to ..Or is it what Trump was referring to

More People Died of Suicide Last Week in Tennessee Than COVID-19

As we previously warned, this pandemic response will bankrupt and kill more people from suicide than the virus will. When you sacrifice people’s livelihoods, you create a desperate situation for many who will see no 0ther way out.

We are about to have a mental health crisis during an economic depression that will be tough to live through. The virus is no longer the problem. The government’s reaction has been the problem and even some politicians have figured it out. Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs revealed in a weekly update that our solution to this pandemic has not been a good one. “Thus far, our reaction to COVID-19 has been to sacrifice the global economy,” said Jacobs. “The truth is: a sick economy produces sick people.”

Most people don’t want to hear the truth, unfortunately, and the longer state governments insist on businesses being closed and an economy shut down to combat what’s looking like a fairly insignificant virus for most of the population, the aftermath will worsen. Each day that drags on will make the next few years more difficult.

“Last year, our medical examiner performed autopsies for 199 confirmed or suspected suicides from across the region, with 83 of those coming from Knox County. Over the past 48 hours, that office has now examined nine suspected suicides, eight of which are from Knox County alone. For Knox County, that’s almost ten percent of last year’s total number in the past two days alone,” Jacobs added.

Thanks to Democrats, Trump is unchained and has freedom to act

Democrats think they’ve outsmarted Trump by saying everything he’s done is bad. They’ve done the opposite, though. Trump is now free to act as he sees fit.

Democrats, both inside and outside of the media, are feeling pretty pleased with themselves. As far as they’re concerned, they’ve got Trump locked in a box. Because most Americans don’t read past the headlines, and can easily have yesterday’s facts overwritten by today’s lies, the Democrats have positioned themselves to describe as “the worst” every single step Trump has taken since it became apparent that both China and the WHO were lying about COVID-19.*

First Trump was a racist who overreacted. Then Trump was a laggard who failed to make America’s blue state governors and mayors aware of the problem facing them. Then he was a bad manager who didn’t correct stockpile problems created early in the Obama administration. Then he was a blue state hater who hoarded supplies to save them for red states. Naturally, there was the complaint that, despite being Hitler, he was a failure because he refused to act in an authoritarian way and shut down the entire economy, rather than merely parts of it.

And that’s only the beginning of the box leftists have been trying to build around Trump. They complained Trump didn’t communicate enough. Now he’s communicating so much that Democrat-run media refuse to carry him. The reason given is that Trump lies, but reasonable people can believe that the media are worried that the public is witnesses in real-time the fact that reporters don’t seek information, they merely seek to destroy. They’re also getting to hear Trump speak unmediated truths and show his boundless optimism.

Finally a Doc that makes sense…kekekek

A top German doctor recommends whiskey to protect against COVID-19

While the World Health Organization vehemently disagrees, Dr. Juergen Rissland, a lead doctor at the Institute for Virology at Saarland University Hospital in Germany, went on the record to say: drinking whiskey can protect against COVID-19.

And that is definitely one report we can all get behind.

While appearing on "The Morning Show," Dr. Rissland was asked about whether or not drinking alcohol could kill any viruses a person may have ingested. "Yes, of course, that's true," Dr. Rissland responded. "And the higher the percentage of alcohol, the better it is. For example, if you are a whisky lover, then that certainly isn't a bad idea," he continued, while offering this bit of sage advice to pace yourself: "But of course you need to bear in mind that you can't do that every 15 minutes, that is something else to consider."

DARPA Program to Build Travel Adapter for Human Body

The advanced acclimation and protection tool, controlled by the warfighter, will address the challenges of travel such as jet lag and diarrhea

Warfighters are travelers and thus suffer from travelers’ ailments including disrupted sleep cycles and limited access to safe food and water. Warfighters who have not slept well have lower alertness, weaker athletic performance, and greater disorientation. Current approaches to restoring wakefulness often lean on chemical methods that disrupt downstream sleep patterns and lead to exhaustion. For sustenance, warfighters typically rely on military-supplied food, which is logistically burdensome and may lead to warfighters having to consume local food and water that could cause otherwise preventable diseases, notably diarrhea. Data from 2003 to 2004 demonstrate that 2/5ths of diarrhea cases among warfighters in Iraq and Afghanistan required medical attention.1

Through advances in medical devices and synthetic biology, DARPA’s new ADvanced Acclimation and Protection Tool for Environmental Readiness (ADAPTER) program aims to develop a travel adapter for the human body, an implantable or ingestible bioelectronic carrier that can provide warfighters control over their own physiology. The integrated system will be designed to entrain the sleep cycle – either to a new time zone or back to a normal sleep pattern after night missions – and eliminate bacteria that cause traveler’s diarrhea after ingestion of contaminated food and water. ADAPTER will provide a transient, non-genetic means of extending and enhancing warfighter readiness.

“The goal of the ADAPTER program is to produce the therapies within the body itself. ADAPTER will manage a warfighter’s circadian rhythm, halving the time to reestablish normal sleep after a disruption such as jet lag or shift lag. It will also provide safe food and water by eliminating in vivo the top five bacterial sources of traveler’s diarrhea. Both will enhance the health and mobility of warfighters,” described Paul Sheehan, Ph.D., program manager for the DARPA ADAPTER program.

Second Amendment Activists Suffer Setback in California As Federal Judge Greenlights Gun Store Closures

Advocates vow to take coronavirus shutdown challenge to Supreme Court

A federal judge on Monday denied a request by gun-rights groups to prevent California from shutting down gun stores during the coronavirus crisis in a legal battle that could end up before the Supreme Court.

Second Amendment activists had filed a federal suit to block California localities from including gun stores in emergency shutdown orders related to the coronavirus. Judge André Birotte Jr. denied the request, ruling that Los Angeles County—where the case was filed—or any other jurisdiction could close gun stores to prevent the spread of the virus.

"The City's and County's stated objective—reducing the spread of COVID-19, a highly dangerous and infectious disease—undoubtedly constitutes an important government objective," Birotte said in the ruling. "The closure of non-essential businesses, including firearms and ammunition retailers, reasonably fits the City's and County's stated objectives."

Meet the Activist-Doctor Who Has Become the Kremlin’s Loudest Coronavirus Critic

Anastasiya Vasilyeva says she is trying to protect Russia’s first line of defense against the pandemic.

After weeks of working on overdrive, Anastasiya Vasilyeva, a doctor turned activist, finally had some time to kill.

It was late Thursday morning and the head of the independent Doctors’ Alliance labor union had just passed the halfway point between Moscow and the Novgorod region, six hour’s drive northwest of the Russian capital. Vasilyeva, 36, was traveling in a convoy of four cars stocked with personal protective equipment (PPE) — gloves, masks, respirators — that she and nine other union members were planning to deliver to two local hospitals.

“What we’re doing is helping our government,” Vasilyeva told The Moscow Times by phone. “They’re not doing this work, so we’re taking it on ourselves.”

As the coronavirus pandemic has taken Russia in its grip in recent weeks, Vasilyeva has increasingly risen in prominence, standing out as the loudest critic of the authorities’ stance on the severity of the pandemic. She has also sounded the alarm over Russia’s testing procedures and the state of the country’s already strained healthcare system that, experts have argued, lacks the resources to deal with the virus in the event that hospitals are overrun with patients.

Why Pentagon is still using Zoom when schools are banning it?

Thousands of companies and individuals have resorted to the use of video conferencing platforms as they are not able to move to their workplaces; this has increased the popularity of these services, especially for Zoom. However, its popularity has caught the attention of cloud security course firms and specialists concerned about potential security flaws that could expose sensitive user information.

Despite these cybersecurity concerns, the US Department of Defense (DOD) has become one of the main customers of the video conferencing platform, employing its services for unclassified matters, as recognized by Lt. Col. Robert Carver, a spokesman for the agency: “DOD staff has cybersecurity training, although we recognize that there is no official protocol for the use of Zoom.”

Cloud security course researchers find several concerns in Zoom are not unfunded. To get started, the platform is very unclear about how its software works and what permissions it requires to obtain on the user’s system. In addition, it has been confirmed that Zoom collects data to send to Facebook, not forgetting the presence of two vulnerabilities that could be exploited together to gain access to a system with Zoom installed. The seriousness of these issues varies depending on the user’s device.
