Chloroquine and quinine in tonic water

Biochemistry fag here (with a master's in nutrition)

Reading some NCBI Pubmed articles. Most interesting.

Pharmacology of Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine [https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7122276/]

In World War II it was observed that servicemen with rashes and inflammatory arthritis who took quinacrine and chloroquine for malaria prophylaxis experienced improvement in their autoimmune conditions [14]. In 1951, Page used quinacrine to treat arthritis and autoimmune dermatologic conditions [15]. Later chloroquine and then hydroxychloroquine were also noted to favorably affect patients with rheumatologic diseases. Over time, both have been widely adopted for these uses. They are commonly used in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), SLE, discoid lupus erythematosus, polymorphous light eruptions, solar urticaria, recurrent basal cell carcinoma of the skin, porphyrea cutane tarda, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, and more than 20 other rarer conditions [11, 16–20].

Porphyria cutanea tarda (PCT) is a type of porphyria or blood disorder that affects the skin. PCT is one of the most common types of porphyria. It's sometimes referred to colloquially as vampire disease. That's because people with this condition often experience symptoms following exposure to sunlight.

Vampires take quinine products!!!! Oh really.

Quinine product relax the brochi? They sure do. Two articles.

(2) Tonic water compounds prevent allergic asthma in mice [https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317213] This article is probably from the first.

Just so you know: I am taking zinc and drinking tonic water.

Nope, but I bet it would be way too high. This is not for a cure but as a prophylactic (preventative). I read it's about 100mg/liter. Plus, it's quinine, not HCQS.
