Why are many people in Australia, Canada, the US, etc. putting teddy bears in their windows during passover? I started seeing this around town, and had to look it up. It's a thing supposedly prompted by coronavirus and is discussed using the hashtag #GoingOnABearHunt

The word "hunt" in the hashtag only further underlines my concerns. And the teddy bear seems like another pedo symbol, actually. So I can't help thinking about the sacrifical blood on the houses for passover.

I'm sure many people are doing this innocently…maybe…but something about it feels wrong.
