It’s possible. The zinc ion may act as a decoy to tie up the toxin and keep it away from the iron in hemoglobin. My guess would be to ingest something with a metal that’s closer to iron on the periodic table, like Chromium. Chromium Picolonate is readily available OTC. Just a thought.
