Someone in the financial thread claimed that the US' gold store is vastly increased b/c we confiscated Au from baddies, possibly in exchange for lesser punishments. This guy was the Vatican's treasurer, or something like that, so he'd be one to know where their booty's buried. My totally subjective %100 opinionated guess is that he's guilty AF but is going to be doing some lighter time in exchange for some of the element soon to be backing our constitutional currency.
