Actually not. The only denomination that goes for the idols and statues and relics is the Catholics. Other denominations reject depicting God or Jesus or any other servant of God in any form, per the Ten Commandments admonition.
You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me, and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
According to the Book of Deuteronomy the Israelites were strictly warned to neither adopt nor adapt any of the religious practices of the peoples around them. Christians understand that same admonition applies to all of God's faithful.
Why Catholics interpret their idolatry as not violating the Commandments is left for the reader to figure out.
