I have replied to this info before. In medicine we don not generally treat a lab result, we treat a patient who has a medical history, physical signs and symptoms and lab work/testing. It is common verbiage in testing that the test results should be interpreted while considering the other factors. The test detects the virus but does not prove that it is infectious (it can be early and you are asymptomatic or that you are over it/convalescent). It also does not prove that the symptoms are due to the virus; you could have other disease. None of this is fake news; this is how medicine works. Critical thinking anon.
