There's something about the line of succession that doesn't make sense to me. Moreover, there is no step 5, but what about a phase 4. Nancy wants her election meddling to get through. The whole thing will stall if she blocks it. Say we really do need it to go through, pushing her up the chain and out of the house COULD be a move…though it would need to be planned years in advance to line up all the failsafes.

Could also sacrifice Pence if they take him out with the whole wiretapping thing or something else, botched Covid response non-excuse…that would move Pelosi up and keep POTUS.
