My 2 cents is do what we can to maximize public outrage over the caravan, and immigration issues in general so lawmakers feel pressure to give GEOTUS what he's asking for.
They want to stay in office above all, so they will bend to public outrage, if it's loud enough.
If you do anything that threatens physical violence, you will lose the general populace quickly.

Be mindful of the optics, there are women and children in that caravan. What i'm saying is the finest nonlethal options. Sonic weapons and such. Under NO circumstances should they be allowed to cross our border, but if your going to position the big guns at the border to stop babies it will look terrible on the world stage.
