Last night I went digging and found this and posted it. The baker made fun of it and wouldn’t notable it, now that Q has gone there I’m reposting:

The STAR Management | Cornell Sheep Program

STAR© accelerated lambing system was developed by Brian Magee and Doug Hogue. The benefits of the system are easy management to provide lambs for year-round marketing and increasing production per ewe.

There are always 3 groups of sheep within a flock managed on the STAR system. These are:

  1. Breeding and pregnant ewes and the rams.

  2. Lambing and/or lactating ewes and their lambs.

  3. Growing lambs – both market lambs and the replacement ewe lambs.
