Another dig on Kissinger

With K featuring so prominently today, dug a little on his role in the early days of OPEC where it was his idea that the oil cartel should hike oil prices. Was also thinking that maybe K would be the "first" that will cause "shock waves." Even though he's 96. Well I searched for "kissinger opec" and found something interesting (pic related) that doesn't even mention OPEC. An interesting read on the European influences on his brand of foreign policy.

Also found something pretty old on K's role with oil prices. Knowing that Congress would not finance arms for the Shah of Iran, K had the brilliant idea of OPEC raising its prices (socking it to the American consumer) so that Iran could afford to buy weapons from us (returning citizen's money into the hands of a select few). Nice.

When you see an ice cream commercial, is it really ice cream in the dish? Or a photo of a bowl of cereal on the box, is it a bowl of ceral or a prop? Too perfect looking? I don't know if cannibal eateries are a real thing, but this photo being a prop does not disprove it.
