Sorry…I’m moving a little slow on tonight’s Night Shift.
>Previous Anon requests to look at code within Cannibal Club website.
As far as I can see, there is…
Nothing out of the Ordinary
But I’ll digz a little more.
In reviewing the HTML code, I did come across a word I didn’t know;
Anthropophagy
Anthropophagy is the custom and practice of eating human flesh. It may refer to:
Human cannibalism, when one human consumes the flesh of another
* Anthropophage, a member of a mythical race of cannibals
* Child cannibalism, the act of eating a child or fetus
* Self-cannibalism, the act of eating one's own flesh
Man-eating, the consumption of human flesh by a non-human predator
Anthropophagy (art), an art movement
Anthropophagy Art is what we’ve seen too much of lately
Maybe the Day Shift can Digz on Anthropophagy Art
>Spent about 10 minutes. Lots of crazy stupid stuff. Mostly from Brazil. (Cannibalism in the New World)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropophagy
Looked up the Author, Peter Lovesey.
He appears to be a popular writer of detective and murder mystery books.
>PeterLovesey.com
Tend to agree with what little we’ve pieced together so far. A few other Anon digz show other Cannibal Club connections.
The web site is plain jane and follows a standard template with a few additions of images and text.
Why Registered in April 2008 then?
>The use of an image for the navigation bar (left side) that looks like a boomerang is interesting.
The “ga” is part of the Google Analytics code (ga.js) that is inserted into the page. (That’s why I highlighted it in the first image.) That is often done as a service by the Host.
>However, I agree with you that it could have been done to track visitors, etc.
In which case, we are part of the resulting data.
Submitting a request at info@cannibalclub.org would be a real doozy. Who knows what you’d get back.
That’s what we’re trying to do. A bit of forensics on the site so we can help discover a useful connection(s) or put it to rest.
I knew it was a standard site the moment I saw it.
==But Q called it out=
>So an Anon does what tan Anon does, digz and meme, and repeat till truth shines.
This is the one that stood out as far as symbols go.
