The 1000 years is interesting.

Why it was needed vexed me for years. I now believe that it is for those who never got to hear the gospel and for those still alive after Armageddon.

This is because every single person* who has ever lived has to hear the gospel and given the chance accept or reject it. Those folks are tempted by he who is loosed for a short season.

Then comes the final judgement.

Better have the right retirement plan.

*Aztec, Inca, Mayan, some Eskimo, isolated peoples, perhaps some of the line of Cain, and any other peoples throughout all of history who didn't hear the gospel.
