US Attorney General Bill Barr told Fox News host Laura Ingraham there was ‘no basis’ for the FBI’s ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ investigation into then-candidate Donald Trump.

Recall, FBI counter-intel chief Peter Strzok opened a CI investigation into Trump’s campaign in July of 2016 dubbed ‘Crossfire Hurricane,’ based on bogus claims his camp was working with the Russians.

Barr said what happened to Trump was one of the greatest travesties in American history.

Even more alarming was the pattern of events after the campaign to sabotage Trump’s presidency.

“I think what happened to him [Trump] was one of the greatest travesties in American history, and without any basis they started this investigation of his campaign, and even more concerning, actually is what happened after the campaign, a whole pattern of events while he was president to sabotage the presidency,” said Barr.

Last May Barr appointed US Attorney from Connecticut John Durham to investigate the origins of Spygate.

According to reports, Durham is focusing on former CIA Director John Brennan’s role in Spygate and his lies to Congress.

Hillary’s phony Russia dossier was not only used by the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant on Carter Page, it was also used in the Intelligence Community’s report.

MN Senator and Doctor: Hospitals Get Paid More to List Patients as COVID-19 and Three Times as Much if the Patient Goes on Ventilator

Last night Senator Dr. Scott Jensen from Minnesota went on The Ingraham Angle to discuss how the AMA is encouraging American doctors to overcount coronavirus deaths across the US.

This was after Dr. Scott Jensen, a Minnesota physician and Republican state senator, told a local station he received a 7-page document coaching him to fill out death certificates with a COVID-19 diagnosis without a lab test to confirm the patient actually had the virus.

Dr. Jensen also disclosed that hospitals are paid more if they list patients with a COVID-19 diagnosis.

And hospitals get paid THREE TIMES AS MUCH if the patient then goes on a ventilator.

Senator Dr. Scott Jensen: Right now Medicare is determining that if you have a COVID-19 admission to the hospital you get $13,000. If that COVID-19 patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much. Nobody can tell me after 35 years in the world of medicine that sometimes those kinds of things impact on what we do.

‘We have too many ships at sea’: Pentagon says more Theodore Roosevelt-level coronavirus outbreaks are possible

New large-scale coronavirus outbreaks within the US military are certainly possible given the amount of assets it has deployed worldwide, the Pentagon has said, adding it was getting ready to operate in the “Covid environment.”

“I think it is not a good idea to think that the [Theodore Roosevelt outbreak] is a one of a kind issue,” Air Force General John Hyten, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said during a press briefing on Thursday.

A small number of coronavirus cases have been already detected at another US aircraft carrier – the Nimitz – the general added. According to media reports, however, up to four US carriers have registered cases of the disease to date.

The Theodore Roosevelt coronavirus outbreak prompted a major scandal in the US Navy after a letter by former skipper Captain Brett Crozier, in which he pleaded with his superiors for an immediate evacuation of the crew to “prevent tragic outcomes,” was leaked and published. While his request was ultimately granted last Thursday when the ship docked in Guam, the whistle-blowing captain was sacked for “causing alarm.”

The incident also led to the downfall of Acting US Navy Secretary Thomas Modly, who openly - and harshly - criticized Crozier, calling the officer either “too naive or too stupid” to command an aircraft carrier. Modly was then himself castigated by those who deemed Crozier a “hero” for caring more about his men than his career, and the official was forced to resign on Monday.

Meanwhile, the number of positive cases on the nuclear-powered vessel jumped by over 100 on Wednesday, and currently stands at 416. One sailor from the coronavirus-plagued aircraft carrier has been taken into intensive care after his condition worsened, the US Navy has said.

Still, the Theodore Roosevelt remained combat-ready despite the outbreak and was taken back to port as a “precaution,” Deputy Defense Secretary David Norquist insisted while speaking at the same press conference as Hyten. The coronavirus infection is not going anywhere in the next few months, and now the US military is adapting to operate in the “Covid environment,” the official added, warning “adversaries” against seeing the outbreak as an opportunity to target US forces.

Former Baltimore Mayor Pugh Headed For Alabama Prison

Convicted former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh has been assigned to an Alabama women's prison, expected to report to jail by the end of April, reported CBS Baltimore, citing new court documents.

Pugh was sentenced on February 27 to three-years after pleading guilty to tax evasion and fraud-related charges to the "Healthy Holly" children's book scandal. She was expected to report to prison on April 13, has since received an extension until April 27 so she could spend time with her niece.

According to the court documents, Pugh has pending state perjury charges, which are expected to be resolved before she reports to prison. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the court system in Baltimore and pushed the hearing out to May 14. Pugh's attorney is asking the court to delay when she reports to federal prison until early June:

"To require the Defendant to surrender to BOP [Bureau of Prisons] custody in Alabama, only to then have to be immediately returned to Maryland for the final adjudication of her state law charges, serves no legitimate purpose, unduly burdens the United States Marshals Service in having to unnecessarily transport the Defendant back to Maryland, could cause undue delays in the state court proceedings, and frustrates the Defendant's access to BOP programs that she can benefit from while serving her sentence in a designated facility," Pugh's attorney Andy White wrote in a filing.

Court documents said Pugh was assigned to the Federal Correctional Institution in Aliceville, Alabama, a medium-security federal prison. Her attorney argues against her assignment to the facility, indicating it violates recommendations in the First Step Act. White says Pugh would preferably spend her sentence in West Virginia.

"An extension of the current surrender date would allow the Defendant time to petition the BOP to change her designation to a facility consistent with the First Step Act's requirement that BOP' place [a] prisoner in a facility as close as practicable to the prisoner's primary residence, and to the extent practicable, in a facility within 500 driving miles of that residence,'" White wrote.

The 70-year-old's political unraveling began in March 2019 when The Baltimore Sun uncovered a shady deal she made with the University of Maryland Medical System, where she sat on the board of directors, to purchase upwards of 100,000 copies of her Healthy Holly books for $500,000. By April 2019, the FBI and IRS raided her home, and days later, she went missing. Prosecutors say the former mayor netted $850,000 off the book deal.

Google ‘seriously damaged’ French media sector, must negotiate compensation – antitrust regulator

Google has inflicted “serious damage” on the French media and must compensate news companies for using their copyrighted content, the nation's competition regulator has said.

On Thursday, the French antitrust watchdog, the Competition Authority, gave Google three months to negotiate with the country's media companies on the amount of payment for displaying their protected content in Google's search results.

The US-based tech giant's current practices “have likely constituted an abuse of its dominant position, and have caused serious and immediate damage to the press sector” in France, the regulator said. It added that talks with the media outlets must also cover the fees that have accrued since France's new copyright law came into effect in October last year.

The law gives French media companies the right to claim copyright protection when their content is being used by search engines. SEPM and APIG media alliances, which unite national and regional newspapers, as well as the AFP news agency, have filed complaints against Google, demanding it to pay for displaying their news stories.

Google has refused to pay, saying that it will instead remove the preview images from its search results, meaning that only a headline and a link will appear if individual outlets refuse to allow using their content for free. The French media is not happy with this option either, because it will effectively reduce their visibility and result in ad revenue loss. “Google only leaves us with a choice [whether to die from] the plague or cholera,” APID head Jean-Michel Baylet said in October.

Dr. Birx said the Task Force is reevaluating numbers and is in agreement with the Chris Murray study that was released last Thursday.

The Chris Murray and IHME models have been consistently wrong in their outlandish over estimations of coronavirus deaths.

And back on March 30th — just 10 days ago — Dr. Birx told the American public that the estimated fatality numbers include mitigation from the American public!

Senate Democrats Block $250 Billion Coronavirus Small Business Loan Program

Senate Democrats on Thursday blocked a GOP-led $250 billion small business loan program aimed at preventing layoffs amid forced shut downs due to the Coronavirus panic.

The Paycheck Protection Program, which will run out of money in a matter of days, will not be extended until next week at the earliest.

The Senate adjourned until Monday after Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) rejected a unanimous voice vote.

McConnell and the Democrats were at odds over who would receive the funds.

McConnell was pushing for a $250 billion interim bill to fund small businesses with up to 500 employees to cover payroll.

The businesses would not be required to pay back the loans as long as they don’t lay off employees.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was pushing for a $500 billion bill to funnel money to state governments.

The time is now to pass this bill considering unemployment claims surged Thursday, but the Democrats are playing politics as usual.

McConnell accused the Democrats of holding Americans hostage.

A former Georgia Republican congressman is hosting a raffle to win an AR-15 for people who are concerned about the "looting hordes of Atlanta" or the "tyrannical government" or both.

According to a Thursday report in the Daily Mail, 73-year-old Dr. Paul Broun is offering up the gun to a "lucky person" via raffle — all they have to do is sign up for his mailing list.

Broun, who previously served in Georgia's 10th Congressional District from 2007 to 2015, is up for the 9th Congressional District seat, currently held by Rep. Doug Collins. Broun announced the raffle in a promotional video for his campaign.

"In uncertain times like these, the right to defend yourself and your property and your family could not be more important," he says, in the video.

"Whether it's looting hordes from Atlanta, or a tyrannical government from Washington, there are few better liberty machines than an AR-15," Broun continued.

"You see, Marxists know that America will never submit to socialism and place government on the throne of our hearts without a big fight," he said later. "Well, I'm just not feeling like giving up my guns to the government."

He concluded the video by firing the gun and saying, "God bless America."

Australian MPs call for release of Julian Assange to home detention as Covid-19 ‘rapidly spreads’ in UK prisons

There are new calls from Australia to release Julian Assange from prison over Covid-19 fears. Two MPs, supported on Twitter by the whistleblower’s mother, sent letters to UK authorities calling for his release to home detention.

Australian MPs Andrew Wilkie and George Christensen, co-chairs of the Bring Julian Assange Home Parliamentary Group, wrote to UK Commons Justice Committee Chair Bob Neill MP and Secretary of State for Justice Robert Buckland MP calling for “urgent” consideration of Assange’s case in light of the fact that Covid-19 is “rapidly spreading” in British prisons.

Assange’s release is important as he would be a “high risk” patient if he contracted the virus given that he has a pre-existing chronic lung condition, they said. The first death due to Covid-19 at Belmarsh Prison, where Assange is being held, was reported on Tuesday.
