its not that simple for all of us.
i've had an exemplary career for 20 years writing software. in december i was making $140k. within a few days in january i lost my family (divorce, wife is on a hormone that made her fkin crazy - i haven't seen my toddler since christmas), my job, my home, spent a month and a half on the street before finding an apartment which i'm about to lose. nobody is hiring unless i want to abandon my career and all the work i put into it.
id love to eat well and drink well, but i'm down to $135 to my name. behind on all utilities, rent, car payments. i'll be on the street in a week if i wait for it all to come crashing down.
sorry to be a debbie downer, but its not that easy to just buck up and put a smile on.
