Trump will have to have a very very good story to explain his actions with this… and soon. He’ll be loosing lots of support, some of his best supporters at that. Going along to get along will not cut it. Giving the crooks enough rope is one thing, roping the general public is another.
I’m with you on going forward with a few simple straightforward high profile arrests and presentations of wrong doing. Why it hasn’t/can’t happen I am equally dumbfounded.
The ONLY excuse I’ve heard and consider plausible, is the concept of vast and sweeping civil breakdown. What I counter with, is that we are blazing a trail in that exact direction anyway… why not have the public trial sooner than later, while the TVs and internets still work and people arn’t so crazed simply hunting each other for food?
