Iraqi Armed Group Threatens UK, U.S. Ambassadors In Iraq

A newly-established Iraqi armed group identifying itself as Qabdat al-Hudaa (QH) has threatened the American and British ambassadors in the capital, Baghdad.

In a statement released on April 9, the mysterious group called on both ambassadors to depart the country within 48 hours, vowing to kill them

“According to information we received, the American forces of evil are planning to carry out an attack against the blessed Islamic resistance factions and the Iraqi people, so we tell them that out eyes are monitoring you in everywhere, and to the American and British ambassadors in Baghdad [we say] if you don’t leave Iraq within 48 hours you will be leaving dead bodies, forewarned is forearmed,” the statement reads.

The new faction is named after a group of Shiite scholars who were executed by Saddam regime in 1974. The five scholars, headed by al-Arif al-Busri, were among the very first leaders of the Islamic Dawa Party that later supported the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

QH is one of few armed factions which were formed or emerged following the assassination of Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Deputy Commander, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and Iran’s Quds Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Qassam Soleimani, last January.

Usbat al-Tha’ireen (UT), the faction that claimed responsibility for the March 11 rocket attack on Camp Taji killing three U.S.-led coalition personnel, was among the first groups to became active after the incident. Another group is ‘Ashab al-Kahf (AK), which allegedly attacked a logistics convoy of U.S. forces in Saladin earlier this week.

Other major Shiite armed group like Kata’ib Hezbollah (KH) have been threatening U.S. forces for a while now. However, they are yet to take action.

The U.S.-led coalition is taken these threats seriously, withdrawing a large part of its troops and repositioning others in well-protected bases. These measures will not likely be so useful, if Iraqi factions decide to go for an “open war” with U.S. forces.

Comrades, the ministry of coronavirus compliance is making it easy to be a good state citizen. If you spot a non-compliant citizen participating in life without adhering to the dictates of the state, there’s now mobile APP’s for quick snitching.

Comrade citizens are now able to take a picture of the non-compliant behavior (citizen spotted outdoors, not wearing a mask, unauthorized gatherings etc), upload the picture to the state ministry, and the state compliance division will dispatch local enforcement teams to correct the non-compliant behavior, or remove the citizen.

ISIS Summarizes Results Of Its Most Recent Attacks World-Wide

On April 9, ISIS’ al-Naba’ newspaper released an infographic summarizing the results of the terrorist group’s most recent attacks throughout the world.

In the infographic, the terrorist group claims that its fighters carried out 60 operations in eight different regions over the last week. The operations were distributed as follows:

29 operations in Iraq, killing or injuring 66 government fighters and civilians;

11 operations in Syria, killing or injuring 22 government fighters and civilians;

7 operations in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, killing or injuring 18 government fighters and civilians;

6 operations in Western Africa, killing or injuring 85 people;

3 operations in Central Africa, killing or injuring 5 people;

2 operations in Yemen, killing or injuring 3 people;

A single operation in India, killing or injuring 3 people;

A single operation in Somalia, killing or injuring 3 people.

ISIS claimed that 30 vehicles, including 16 4×4 trucks and 8 armors, were destroyed in the course of these operations. The terrorists also burned three military positions.

The first week of April indeed witnessed a surge in ISIS attacks, especially in Africa. Nevertheless, the group may have exaggerated its claims, as usual, to boost the morale of its supporters around the world.

ISIS focused on hit and run attacks after losing all of its territories in Iraq and Syria three years ago. While the terrorist group is working to rebuild its influence, it is not trying to hold any ground, at least for now.
