A dig of massive importance in the history
of the German peoples has occurred.
Anon got his DNA test back…
am 12% German…88% English, from the north west.
88…there are NO coincidences. the thing is…this 12% should
NOT be here…unless
can any German anon, with no further information, who
knows how to place such results in context, please help -
what does this mean? spouse anon is doing a slow reveal and has told me
that I have DNA hits in the area I just outlined on google maps.
spouse anon wont tell me anymore right now, is teasing as I am stunned.
does this really mean I have a grandparent or a great grandparent from here?
anon was born in 1969.
both anons parents were born in 1945
there is NOTHING in anons family to suggest
a German. except DNA.
everything anon knows about family puts us in Lancashire
since 1432 (seriously, it's really "me") on the maternal side.
anons father was 50% Connemara 50% Caithness and this does not
show in the 88% as I guess it cannot differentiate DNA to that degree
OR there really isn't any difference given the genetic mix of the
north of England and general area in any case the 88% English,
is 88% with a twist…
This is nowhere near the north sea (pic related)
and at 12% is recent isn't it?
