The Dems must be getting tired of him being a fly in their ointment.
Today is Good Friday, the day of our Lord’s death on the cross in atonement for our sins. I’ve read a lot of different perspectives on what this means to us as a Christian people but this simple statement speaks to my heart.
Rupert of Deutz (1075-1129), a Benedictine abbot and theologian, wrote:
"The cross of Christ is the door to heaven, the key to paradise, the downfall of the devil, the uplifting of mankind, the consolation of our imprisonment, the prize for our freedom."
