question for lawfags… if you live in a state where the governor is so beyond corrupt and basically enforcing a stasi-like environment…can you sue him or her personally for honest services fraud. broadly speaking, that governor issuing an executive order that closes down the company you work for therefore laying you off. if you could prove they received a kickback or bribe for writing that executive order couldn't you sue them personally for honest services fraud? indirectly?
it's theoretical. I assume there's evidence somewhere but I don't have it. POTUS probably does have it. top 3 corrupt governors in the nation.
