where are you getting "insufficent in many cases"?
It can't hurt to add Zinc. People with Zinc deficienies would definitely benefit from added Zinc.
But the French study isn't with added Zinc, and they're at 10 deaths with over 2000 treated for 3 days w/ HCQ and Zpack.
So, although I'd say it's good to add Zinc, there have been good results without it.

Viruses like acid environments. HCQ and CQ raise pH - make more alkaline - oxygenate.
You know that you can get tonic water at the supermarket for less than $1 a liter.
To get HCQ and CQ, you, at minimum in the US, have to talk to a doctor.
Tonic Water w/ Quinine is in competition with Pepsi in the category of "something to drink".
I'd argue against HFCS, in general, however, I'd want the quinine, and I'd take the HFCS with it.
Quinine does have a half life, it does accumulate.
If you can put together the list of best supermarket drinks for C19, that would be useful. Maybe you'll have a good reason to put something else in front of Tonic Water w/ Quinine.
What would you put in that supermarket drink that would make that drink work better against C19?
I'd put some milk of magnesia in with the Tonic Water. Open the Tonic water, pour in maybe a teaspoon of MoM, close the tonic water.
Or you could use baking soda.
Various other things could go in there.
Actually, you don't have any idea how much is necessary to PREVENT C19.

Fact is we don't know. We don't know how much quinine = how much HCQ.
But we do know that 100 years ago, Quinine prevented Flu.

The way the Democrats are acting, Hydroxychloroquine is an existential threat to the Democrat party.
Vampires will find shortages of HCQ and die, Crazy cat ladies who support Vampire rights will take the HCQ and be cured of their irrational support for Vampire rights.
Or, even more sinister, the government has known all along that these Quinine drugs cure all kinds of things cheaply, and we don't need vaccines if this cheap Quinine can get to everybody. The Government has been hiding the cures from us.
What we're experiencing right now is the time where we say "RELEASE THE CURES" just like Q said.
