Realistically, if we really felt like we had any idea about the Plan and what was supposed to happen and WHEN it was supposed to happen, that would mean that (((they))) certainly know as well.. which isn't good.

Just because we generally feel like big things won't happen until the next election is over doesn't necessarily mean that it's true. It probably means that it's NOT true, actually. Surprises are good.
