Fact check: Can tonic water and zinc help in the fight against the coronavirus?

Local TV station "FACT" checks Dr. Eric Nepute's Tonic water w/Quinine plus zinc homeopathic preventative for COVID19.

[They] interview another allopathic doctor who disputes Dr. Nepute's claims and further reiterates hand washing and social distancing are the only effective "preventatives." They go on to state the FDA says there is no known "cure" for COVID19.

Interestingly, they don't check on the zinc claims nor do they dispute Dr. Nepute's claims that the legacy media is engaging in otherwise felony worthy criminal acts of reporting FAKE NEWS, such attributing COVID19 as the cause of death of an infant born 22 weeks prematurely!

So, as the POTUS stated the other day in his presser, "Zinc" appear to play an important role in the fight against COVID19. If you look in the scinetific literature, many of the drugs that target the ACE2 viral entry receptors in the lungs also form complexes with zinc, even the nonquinine putative COVID19 therapeutic, telmisartan (see graphic and attached papers).
