i remember seeing a tv movie about him and two guys had DOS. working out of a garage, but nowhere to go with it and Gates wanted to get any kind of operating system on the home computer (IBM was part of it somehow trying to get ahead of Apple) …seeing that was where the money was, not in the hardware. So he "stole" the software from them for like $50k, not telling them what he was doing with it…. that is all I know, and I might be not even recalling correctly. The guy really doesn't know anything about computers ; he is a marketeer.
