NEWARK, N.J. – Nancy Kissinger, wife of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, faces criminal charges that she tried to throttle a woman who directed a 'personal slur' at her husband, authorities said today.
Apparently, some remarks were directed at the Kissingers – or rather a personal slur at Kissinger – by a demonstrator (Mrs. Kaplan) in a nuclear group,' said Leon Katz, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which owns and operates the airport.
She said she followed the couple and asked: 'Mr. Kissinger, do you sleep with young boys at the Carlyle Hotel?'
At that point, Mrs. Kaplan said, Mrs. Kissinger reached out with one hand and throttled her.
