GOP Demands Answers from WHO About China and ‘Worst Cover-Up in History,’ Trump Taking Action Next Week

Republicans are demanding answers from WHO about their relationship with China.

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee sent WHO a letter asking them to explain their actions in regards to China and the Wuhan coronavirus. In the letter, they expressed concern that WHO had placed the interests of China over informing the world, as is their mission, indicating they “helped Beijing disseminate propaganda, downplayed the extent of the disease, and possibly delayed ordering a public health emergency.”

They pointed to three actions by WHO that contributed to the pandemic:

  1. Denied human-to-human spread of COVID-19 based solely on Chinese propaganda. They ignored the warning from Taiwan that it was communicable, apparently because of not wanting to offend China.

  2. Prolonged naming COVID-19 a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) and pandemic because China had the spread under control.

  3. Delayed serious measures, like travel restrictions, to counter the global spread. President Donald Trump actually cut travel on Jan. 31, while WHO was still saying it wasn’t necessary to do so, even though they knew at that point it was communicable. From Dec. 31 to Jan. 31, the letter notes, 430,000 flew from China to the U.S.

Despite China’s cover-up, WHO has said nothing about China’s actions or lies to them.

“Throughout the crisis, the WHO has shied away from placing any blame on the Chinese government, which is in essence the Communist Party of China. You, as leader of the WHO, even went so far as to praise the Chinese government’s “transparency” during the crisis, when, in fact, the regime has consistently lied to the world by underreporting their actual infection and death statistics.”

According to the Daily Caller, Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) said, “The World Health Organization has become party to China’s coronavirus misinformation and propaganda campaign. Whether it’s deliberate or not, we don’t yet know. This ‘apolitical’ organization praised the communist regime’s ‘transparency,’ spent weeks pushing the claim that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission of the virus, and even resisted President Trump’s early travel restrictions on China.” Hice said as oversight, they had a responsibility to demand reforms.

Rep Mike McCaul took it a step further.

“There is a case to be made here that this is the worst cover-up in human history,” McCaul said to Fox News in an interview. “This is a cover-up by the Chinese Communist Party, which has now led to one of the worst pandemics we’ve ever seen.”

“The World Health Organization did not protect the world from this pandemic and I consider them to be co-conspirators with the Chinese Communist Party,” McCaul continued. He also called for the resignation of WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

China has used WHO’s pronouncements praising them to deflect blame over the pandemic. As we previously reported, a study by the University of Southampton said that the impact across the world could have been “reduced by 95 percent globally,” if China acted three weeks earlier.

President Donald Trump called out WHO earlier in the week and indicated that they would be looking at pulling their funding. On Friday, he indicated that the might have an announcement coming next week in regard to WHO.

From Washington Examiner:

“We are going to have an announcement on the World Health Organization sometime next week,” the president said at the White House coronavirus task force briefing on Friday afternoon. “As you know, we have given them approximately $500 million a year, and we are going to be talking about that subject next week. We’ll have a lot to say about it.” [….]

Earlier this week, Trump said he is considering putting a “very powerful hold” on the “vast amounts” of funds the United States gives to the organization. The president also said the WHO “seemed very China-centric” and “really blew it” in its coronavirus response.

WHO presently has a $4.8 billion budget, which is a huge amount for toadying to China and failing the world.

GOP lawmakers: Fauci may be doing more harm than good

Republican Reps. Andy Biggs (Ariz.) and Ken Buck (Colo.) criticized Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert, for the impact of his social distancing recommendations, claiming that the stay-at-home policies informed by those recommendations have forced businesses, workers and corporations into economic turmoil.

“For Fauci, is it merely a societal or economic inconvenience that about 17 million workers are unemployed because of the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, with many more to come in the weeks and months ahead? The economic calamity lies largely with the origination of policies resulting from Fauci's recommendations,” the lawmakers wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Examiner published Saturday.

Biggs and Buck, both members of the conservative Freedom Caucus and staunch allies of President Trump, join others on the right in criticizing public health officials on the administration’s coronavirus task force. On Tuesday, Tucker Carlson, a conservative commentator on Fox News, said that Fauci “shouldn’t be making economic decisions.”

The lawmakers' op-ed comes as the United States has seen record increases in unemployment. In the first week of April, more than 6 million people filed for unemployment, according to data released by the U.S. Labor Department. More than 10 million people applied for unemployment in the last two weeks of March as businesses shuttered due to fears of the pandemic's spread.

“The longer government-imposed lockdowns go on, the more people will lose their jobs — millions more,” the lawmakers wrote. “Thousands of businesses will close their doors. The physical and emotional toll from this self-imposed economic destruction will be worse than the doomsday prophets projected.”

Trump has shared similar concerns about closures in the past, tweeting, "WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF."

However, when asked by reporters about whether he would continue to listen to medical professionals on the coronavirus task force, Trump said yes. The president added that he would listen to health experts and balance their guidance with that of his economic advisers.

Fauci, a public health official with the National Institutes of Health, does not advise the president on matters besides science and is concerned with the mitigation of the disease to contain the outbreak and prevent casualties.

Both Fauci and Deborah Birx, the coordinator of the coronavirus task force, have said social distancing and the mass closures that result are the only ways to mitigate the spread of the disease. Once large-scale testing is available, they've asserted, the data they collect could help phase out the guidelines.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin signaled this week that the federal government is aiming to open up the economy by early May. However, state lawmakers and health experts are unsure of the feasibility of this date, as many states across the country have yet to reach their peak in confirmed coronavirus cases.

Biggs and Buck said they are skeptical of the doctors' expertise, noting their estimates have fluctuated in terms of projected deaths, spanning from a high of 240,000 deaths estimated in the past weeks to a recalibrated estimation of 60,000 deaths most recently.

Fauci has said the estimation has dropped because of Americans' efforts to self-isolate and practice social distance.

“Surely, more revisions are to come,” the lawmakers said, adding that Birx's method of counting coronavirus deaths, which include those who have the virus and died as a result of preexisting health issues “almost sounds as if she is trying to boost the fatality rate.”

The lawmakers conceded that Fauci and other public health experts deserve “some credit for mitigating the spread of this virus,” though they "should no longer be the primary voices at the table."

But, Biggs and Buck added the economic damage caused by “stay at home” order across the potentially irreversible.

“Many businesses have been shuttered forever,” the lawmakers wrote. “It will be almost impossible for countless other small businesses to reopen once the government gives the all-clear for the economy to restart.”

Congress has made efforts to mitigate the economic fallout of the pandemic, signing into law a series of three coronavirus relief bills. The latest stimulus package, clocking in at about $2 trillion, has set up programs to administer loans to small businesses, pay workers as well as set up funds to help the airline industry.

There are currently more than 519,000 confirmed cases of the virus in the U.S. and 20,071 reported deaths.

Rita Wilson enlists THESE two demands for Tom Hanks if she dies before him

Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks were among the first Hollywood celebrities to be infected by coronavirus.

The two have since then recovered successfully and inspired millions for coping up with the disease with dignity and poise.

During an interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show recently, Rita revealed the two demands she has for husband Tom Hanks, if in case she passes away before him.

Talking about her the time she was diagnosed with breast cancer, Rita said, “I wanted to have these very serious discussions with my husband and I said to him, ‘Look, if something happens and I should go before you, then I just want you to know that there’s a couple things that I want’.”

She added, “One is that I want you to be super sad for a really long time,” she joked.

The second wish she mentioned was to have a lavish party.

“I wanted to have a celebration and I wanted to have a lot of singing and dancing and people telling stories and to feel like that was being celebrated,” Rita said, while sharing that this desire of hers is the inspiration behind her song Throw Me A Party.

Military Intelligence.

No media.

No leaks.

How many MI generals have been in/out of WH in the past 30 days?

Focus on Flynn.

Background and potential role.

What is the common denominator in terms of military backgrounds close to POTUS?

Why did Soros transfer the bulk of his ‘public’ funds to a NPO?

Why is this relevant?

Who owes a lot to very bad actors?

How can she repay as payment was made under promise of victory.

What cash payments occurred by BO during the last 90 of his Presidency to foreign states and/ or organizations?

What slush fund did AG Sessions (through DOJ) put an end to?

How does Soros, Obama, Clinton, Holder, Lynch, etc all net many millions of dollars (normally within a single tax year).

What was negotiated on the tarmac between BC and Lynch?

Remember it was expected HRC was going to win during this time period.

What if the wizards and warlocks tipped off a local reporter as to the supposed unscheduled stop?

What if the NSA under the personal direction from Adm R had this meeting miscat and logged under a false identity to prevent bad actors from locating while also verifying to said players all was clear _ no logs.

What really happened when the wizards and warlocks revealed what they had?

Was Comey forced into the spotlight shortly thereafter not by choice? Right before the election no doubt which would cast suspicion?

These are crumbs and you cannot imagine the full and complete picture.

If Trump failed, if we failed, and HRC assumed control, we as Patriots were prepared to do the unthinkable (this was leaked internally and kept the delegate recount scam and BO from declaring fraud).

Dig deeper - missing critical points to paint the full picture.

There is simply no other way than to use the military. It’s that corrupt and dirty.

Please be safe and pray for those in harms way as they continually protect and serve our great country.
