Zone 6-7 Peas and other early vegetables like radishes, carrots and beets go in March 17 (st. Paddy's day).
Lettuces, kale, chard, collards, arugula go in early April..should be planting them now. They need to grow when its cooler or they will bolt too soon when its hotter.
Tomatoes and eggplants get started indoors at the end of February, start hardening off now and plant the beginning of May.
Corn, pumpkins, squash, melons, cukes, beans get sown 1st June since they need the warmer weather to germinate.
Plant again in August for fall crops of cabbage, kale, and more greens.
HARVEST is in June, July, August, September. Everything needs weeks and weeks to grow before anything is ready.
