When you think about it, it's another satan. Satan actually witnessed God create all of creation and still rejected Him. That's why that group of fallen could never be forgiven - they knew God's face and sinned anyway.
Satan actually thought he could throw down God and take His Throne.
Deceived by satan. It's no different with the modern satanist. They just change costumes and masks. And they don't change when their end comes. Evil has matured to it fullest extent at that point, like the days of Noah, like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. They've drowned and they've burned. What end is chosen for them today oh Lord?
