No version of the NWT can be trusted. Tendentiously translated wherever necessary to conform to the Watchtower orthodoxy of warmed-over Arianism. This version actually succeeds in distorting the focus of scripture, which should be Jesus Christ.
No competent scholar in the original languages has ever been involved with the New World Translation and any claims to the contrary are false.
You, poster, are clearly not competent to pass judgment on translations of the Bible and all your opinions are at least third hand.
Your dismissal of the KJV is risible. One might now legitimately question some of the original textual base available in the first decade of the 17th century, but one cannot dispute the extraordinary theological, philological, and literary achievement of the translation committee.
