Yes by design this happens so we know how the Lord works in our individual lives.
We are naturally born with all those thoughts listed in that left column. The expression of those thoughts is not the Christ nature, it is the antichrist. The right column are the trades we make. Expressing these characteristics toward others (Christ nature) is the proof we made a purchase (Ruth 4). For example, we use our impatience to buy patience, if we want kindness we need to sell our unkindness. The Lord pays the price for our sin. We do this until we sell all that we have. In so doing we have eliminated the mark of the beast because we have nothing left to buy or sell.
