what is needed in order to reopen our economy?

Prevention, testing, treatment, and isolation if vulnerable?

What would it take to achieve each of those points?

Prevention would be absolutely critical.

Everyone in america would have to wear a facemask when in public,

sanitize their hands, and maintain these social distancing guidelines.

If you think you're sick, being able to get tested would be important,

but I see it as akin to something like a strep test.

If you think you have it, you go to your doctor and get tested.

Then they treat you with hydroxychloroquine.

and you're on your merry way back home to isolate for a short period.

Socially we would have to accept when people are sick they stay at home.

Open up more flexible work arrangements for telecommuting and the like.

But this tyrannical closed fist of people being out of their homes needs to stop.
