The issue overall is the reduced viewership doesn't necessarily translate to awakened citizens. Actually, the issue is even worse than that.
Most of the normies I know don't watch the news of any kind. It's not that they've stopped watching because they believe the MSM is fake. It's that they have disengaged to an even further degree; they absorb their narratives from celebrities and glimpses of bullshit headlines on twitter.
Most of these people will still quote CNN as the first "news" source that comes to mind. They haven't really woken up to the gaslighting, they've actually gone deeper to sleep.
It won't be until the entire apparatus is destroyed, and all media and entertainment ties to the cabal are exposed, that we will see these people start to think carefully about the credibility of information that has been fed to them as "safe" to consume.
