Shills bakers vs non-shill bakers.
True shill bakers are relatively rare. They tend to be:

irregular (not here every day)

have no baker id either in pastebin or otherwise

bake late at night (but not always)

either rude to other bakers or don't communicate at all

ditto w/anons – either don't respond or respond with insults

do things to screw up the bake in various ways eg:

walking out midbake wo/ telling anyone,
-
fucking with the dough,
-
doing dup bakes early so real baker is left hanging,
-
generating true bad nobables (usually more than one),
-
using bad bred titles,
-
making deliberate mistales re bred numbers or titles.

posting notables very infrequently if at all
-
posting at very end of bred (not opportunity for anon feedback)
-
aligning with other shills to resist bakers and anons who try to oust them
Real bakers never walk out on bakes, bake early on purpose, or deliberately screw with notes to fuck things up. However, they might be uncommunicative, inflexible, and less than forthcoming in explaining themselves at times. Is this goodl? Not really. But does it destroy the integrity of the board? NO–because no baker bakers forever. Bakers trade off (and truly, anyone can and does bake). Our main problem on this board is not shill bakers, it's too few bakers.
Please do not confuse bakers who aren't perfect with shill bakers–they are not the same thing at all.
If you think you can do better, please step up and take it on. Good bakers are always needed.
