'You'll See Bodies In The Streets Of Africa' Warns Melinda Gates; Says Vaccine Is 'Ultimate Solution' To COVID-19

Melinda Gates says that COVID-19 is going to "be horrible in the developing world," and that we're going to see 'bodies in the streets of Africa' like what's happening in Ecuador.

"Look at Ecuador," said Gates, adding "They're putting bodies out on the street. You're going to see that in countries in Africa."

During a Friday interview with CNN's Poppy Harlow, Gates said that when she saw how China had to enact mass quarantines in order to combat the virus, "my first thought was Africa," adding "how in the world are they going to deal with this?"

Earlier in the interview, Gates said that vaccines will be the 'ultimate solution' to solving coronavirus - which she and her husband Bill have been heavily invested in for some time.

Of course, not everyone is excited about the Gates' endeavors.

Decatur CO fired after providing Navy false reports on ship’s position, investigation finds

The commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer Decatur was relieved of command after misleading the Navy’s 3rd Fleet about the ship’s position, according to a new report.

An investigation of the incident, obtained by the San Diego Union Tribune, claimed that Cmdr. Bob Bowen instructed his crew in September to avoid notifying 3rd Fleet officials that the ship had gone dead in the water to complete maintenance on one of its propeller shafts.

Additionally, the investigation found that Decatur’s crew falsified positioning reports to conceal that the ship was stalled for hours. Two electronic systems that could detect the ship’s position were disconnected in the process.

“I didn’t see the reason to let 3rd Fleet know that we — I mean, as long as we’re not doing anything crazy,” Bowen told investigators, according to the Tribune. “We could still do our mission. I just didn’t want them asking questions about … ‘Hey, why are you guys doing this?’”

The incident occurred on the morning of Sept. 13 when the ship was sailing between Hawaii and Seal Beach, California, the report said. To conduct the repairs, the crew locked the ship’s shaft so it remained dead in the water.

A bridge watchstander contacted Bowen to check if 3rd Fleet knew about the situation, to which Bowen responded, “I don’t think they are aware.” When pressed about whether 3rd Fleet should be notified, Bowen said there was no need since the repairs would wrap up shortly, a sailor told investigators.

But when 3rd Fleet officials began inquiring about the ship’s position, course and speed, another bridge watchstander called Bowen. Once more, Bowen instructed the sailor not to inform 3rd Fleet.

“After I hung up with the captain, I understood what he was saying,” the sailor said in the report. “Basically, (to) provide … where we would have been … as if we were not (dead in the water). It just seemed a little awkward I guess….”

New Study Finds 28 Million Americans Likely Infected by Coronavirus — Puts US Mortality Rate at 0.1% Just Like the Seasonal Flu

A new report by Justin Silverman and Alex Washberne on COVID-19 and featured in The Economist finds that the coronvirus is widespread in the US.

The authors argue that 28 million Americans have or have had the coronavirus.

If this study is accurate then the mortality rate of the coronavirus is 0.1%

It’s not clear if he yet understands his mistake.

Regardless, it sent the global community into a collective economic meltdown.

How did we get here? How did we get to the point where the electoral contest to run the most powerful government on the planet is between a racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering rapist and another racist demented right-wing authoritarian warmongering rapist? There are a number of factors, including anonymous and unsubstantiated “leaks” from the US intelligence community regarding Russian support for the Bernie Sanders campaign and a shockingly coordinated maneuver by Democratic Party leadership (including former president Obama) to sabotage Sanders in the late hours before Super Tuesday.

But the primary factor by far was domestic mass media propaganda. Propaganda during the primary season of course, with the billionaire press showing a very clear and undeniable bias against Bernie Sanders from the very beginning of the race. Had the Sanders campaign received a normal quality and quantity of mass media coverage for a candidate of his stature, he would doubtless have received far more support than he did. To deny that biased media messaging has an effect would be the same as denying that advertising, a trillion-dollar industry, has an effect.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried to sneak in federally mandated ballot harvesting in the Coronavirus bill.

Barack and Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton are pushing for mail voting in November.

A new report by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) Monday released a research brief revealing more than 28 MILLION mail ballots went missing in the last 10 years.

In other words, roughly 1 in 5 mail-in ballots never completed the process in the last decade!

This is why the Democrat-media complex is pushing for mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting. There is no chain of custody which makes it easier to cheat.

“Putting the election in the hands of the United States Postal Service would be a catastrophe. Over the recent decade, there were 28 million missing and misdirected ballots,” PILF President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said. “These represent 28 million opportunities for someone to cheat. Absentee ballot fraud is the most common; the most expensive to investigate; and can never be reversed after an election. The status quo was already bad for mail balloting. The proposed emergency fix is worse.”

PILF relied on U.S. Election Assistance Commission survey data to compile national figures regarding mail ballot errors. The federal surveys reflect the 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018 General Elections.

The EAC defines “unknown” ballots as those that “were not returned by voter, spoiled, returned as undeliverable, or otherwise unable to be tracked by your office.”

WHO Official Says She Suspected Human-To-Human COVID-19 Transmission ‘Right From The Start’ — But The WHO Echoed Misleading Chinese Claims To The Contrary For Weeks

A World Health Organization official said Monday that she suspected human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus “right from the start,” beginning on Dec. 31, 2019.

But WHO officials echoed Chinese authorities and denied any suggestion of human-to-human transmission for weeks after Dec. 31. Chinese doctors, meanwhile, were reported to have known for weeks prior that the virus could be transmitted between humans.

“Right from the start, from the first notification we received on the 31st of December, given that this was a cluster of pneumonia — I’m a MERS specialist, so my background is in coronaviruses and influenza — so immediately thought, given that this is a respiratory pathogen, that of course there may be human-to-human transmission,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove said in a press briefing Monday.

Despite Van Kerkhove’s apparent suspicions, the WHO repeated Chinese authorities’ downplaying the possibility that the virus could spread between people.

The WHO repeatedly stated in early and mid-January that Wuhan healthcare workers weren’t becoming infected with coronavirus — a key indicator of human-to-human transmission.

Yet Wuhan doctor Lu Xiaohong told China Youth Daily that by Christmas she had already heard of doctors becoming infected with the virus. The Wall Street Journal similarly reported that Chinese doctors were aware of human-to-human transmission of COVID-19 since late December, though Chinese authorities censored those who spoke out.

Additionally, a study by The Lancet found that by Jan. 2, only 27 of 41 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus patients had connections to the Huanan seafood market thought to have been the source of the outbreak.

But a Jan. 12 WHO press release said: “Based on the preliminary information from the Chinese investigation team, no evidence of significant human-to-human transmission and no health care worker infections have been reported.”

“At this stage, there is no infection among healthcare workers, and no clear evidence of human to human transmission,” it continued.

That press release came one day after, Li Wenliang, the Wuhan doctor who authorities punished for warning the public about the virus, came down with the virus.

New York Times editor says report on sexual assault claim against Biden was changed because his campaign complained

More questionable journalism from the 'Gray Lady'

The New York Times is receiving renewed and reinvigorated criticism after a top editor admitted that their report on sexual harassment claims against Joe Biden was changed after his campaign complained.

Biden was accused by a former staff assistant of making unwanted sexual advances in 1993, but the New York Times waited for weeks to report it after she came forward.

Executive editor Dean Baquet made the admission in an interview with Ben Smith, also of the New York Times.

"I want to ask about some edits that were made after publication, the deletion of the second half of the sentence: 'The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.' Why did you do that?" Smith asked.

"Even though a lot of us, including me, had looked at it before the story went into the paper, I think that the campaign thought that the phrasing was awkward and made it look like there were other instances in which he had been accused of sexual misconduct," said Baquet.

"And that's not what the sentence was intended to say," he claimed.

A double standard

In another section of the interview, Baquet defended the Times against claims from critics that they had a double standard when it came to sexual harassment claims against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

"Kavanaugh was already in a public forum in a large way. Kavanaugh's status as a Supreme Court justice was in question because of a very serious allegation. And when I say in a public way, I don't mean in the public way of Tara Reade's. If you ask the average person in America, they didn't know about the Tara Reade case," said Baquet.

"So I thought in that case," he continued, "if The New York Times was going to introduce this to readers, we needed to introduce it with some reporting and perspective. Kavanaugh was in a very different situation. It was a live, ongoing story that had become the biggest political story in the country. It was just a different news judgment moment."

Baquet's claims were widely ridiculed and mocked online. Byron York of the Washington Examiner called his responses, "weak and sometimes laughable."
