(e) The seasonal influenza vaccine market rewards manufacturers that deliver vaccines in time for the influenza season, without consideration of the speed or scale of these manufacturers’ production processes. This approach is insufficient to meet the response needs in the event of a pandemic, which can emerge rapidly and with little warning. Because the market does not sufficiently reward speed, and because a pandemic has the potential to overwhelm or compromise essential government functions, including defense and homeland security, the Government must take action to promote faster and more scalable manufacturing platforms.

FCC Doing ‘a top to bottom review of every’ Chinese Telecom Company In US, Says Commissioner Carr

 

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr told The Sara Carter Show Monday that the Federal Communications Commission will proceed with the Department of Justice’s recommendation to fully investigate China Telecom Corp. over alleged espionage and is now conducting a top to bottom review of every single Chinese company operating in the United States telecommunications networks.

Chinese Officials Applied for Patent on Remdesivir to Treat Coronavirus Soon After Virus Spread in Hubei Province

In January of this year, weeks after the coronavirus was first reported in China, the Wuhan Institute of Virology applied for a patent on a US drug, Remdesivir, used to treat coronavirus infections.

 

Remdesivir is used for the treatment of Ebola and coronavirus infections. The drug showed early success in Washington state treating the coronavirus outbreak near Seattle.

 

Soros Fund Management invested in WuXi in 2011. The Gateway Pundit reported on Soros’s investments in WuXi AppTec a few weeks ago.
