Two items of note:
1) In the lecture, Professor Lieber shared his latest research progress… use nanoprobes to detect electrical and biochemical signals inside cells, and seamlessly integrate nanoelectronic devices and Synthetic biological tissue.
2) In recognition of Professor Lieber's support and contribution to China's nanotechnology, the State Council awarded Professor Lieber the "Friendship Award of the People's Republic of China" in 2009. This is the highest honor the Chinese government has given to foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions.
