Here is why this building is strategic and why it was bought for 2x the amount it was worth.
Something about this building had me thinking from a communications (computer networking) standpoint. The top of 666 5th is a gold mine due to its location in relation to some of the most influential Corporations in the World.
These Companies have previously been Identified here so no need to fanboy over them. The building has line of sight (LOS) to most if not all of these Conglomerates, LOS is required for most long distance networking, Microwave, Wireless etc.
As an IT guy, I was currious whether this building had some grandfathered Law that made it immune to eavesdropping Laws in NY. We were handed these Laws from the crumbs of 5thAnon.
