Does the Hudson Tunnel Project / Gateway Tunnel play a role in this?

I did a dig on this a few months back. Stupidly, I deleted the file with my screen caps and other info dug up when deleting a bunch of other files, and wiped it from my computer before I realized what I had done. I still have everything in my history - will be going back through to re-gather.

All of the info that has come to light, especially in this thread, since my initial dig will make going back and connecting the dots a ton easier.

All of the names involved with pushing the project are names we've constantly mentioned here as bad actors. The project was widely criticized by those with clear eyes, and declared as "necessary" by those who have proven to be involved with evil. (see below)

Just a few months ago, the idea once again appeared to have gained the support it needed in Washington and, once again, it looks as if one powerful official — in this case, the president — could put a stop to it.
