Your company can have a perfect credit rating, balance sheet, and more clients under contract than you have man-hours to dedicate to them, but if nobody is paying your invoices, then you have no money to pay your employees.
My own company is facing this issue now. We are about to furlough our employees in a few weeks, and I fear that the best ones will go find another way to make money—as they should—and we’ll never get them back.
