You've been misinformed anon. If you really want to know what Catholics believe, ask one who knows what they're talking about, as opposed to your local neighborhood firebreathing protestant.

I was protestant for a LONG time, anon. I held many of the misconceptions about Catholics that you apparently do. But, I was wrong and God led me to the one true Catholic and Apostolic faith (thanks be to God!).

I've made more spiritual progress in the last few years as a Catholic than I ever did in my many years as a protestant.

I'm telling you the honest truth.
