We have more slaves today than ever before in history.
Imagine you are being raped 10-50 TIMES A DAY.
15 Years. For 15 Years I was a victim to child sex trafficking. If I would have been educated about abuse and human trafficking, I could have been rescued and saved from torture, away from 10-50 times daily rape and gang rape.
Luckily I got away because I was taught by a TV show. @nbcsvu and @therealmariskahargitay playing Olivia Benson taught me what is being done to me is wrong. So very wrong. I had to witness my sister get brutally murdered because she wanted to escape.
I got away. I am lucky, I am blessed. BUT over 40 million other people and children are still out there and are being violated in the most unspeakable way. Things are being done to them that no TV show could make up. THIS IS NOT OK.
15 min of your Life could help you become educated on the basics of human trafficking. 15 min that you may dedicate now. Those 15 min will allow you to save a child, a person, a human being. So that they don’t have to wait for a TV show to educate them that they are being abused and no one ever have the right to do this.
