Also the way Congress gets around the Consitution that all bills of revenue shall originate in the House.

If the bill raising revenue (implementing a tax) is not expected to pass in the House, the pass a simple bill that many will agree on. Then in the Senate, they pass an amendment to rplce the text of the bill. Once amendents are approved, a final amendment will change the bill name. Then it is sent back to the House and vote to approve the amendments. (Those who were on the fence since worn down or threatened).

Two examples:

111the Congress HR 3590 "Servicemember's Home Ownership Tax Credit of 2009" (as introduced passed unanimous in the House)

Should Anon or Shouldn't Anon Participate?

Checked phone messages and Anon is on the call list for an April 16 tele-townhall about the impact of Covid-19 with my Senator, Bob Casey-D.

The phone number used to belong a credit dead-beat who works at the hospital, likely a D and why the number was on the list. (google search)

I'm one of several Anon's that did diggz on appropriations and state health departments lack of preparedness. Could be interesting, doubt I could get one relevant question out before being cut off however.
