I think I recall the DAR mentioned in one of Skippy's emails. Someone was using their membership in the DAR as a credential for getting him to do a favor or something like that. I remember a small dig on halfchan into the DAR and it's members back when the email release was on-going. Might be worth a re-dig, I'd bet some suspiciously big names are in there.
