Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham Expands Its Forces With Three New Brigades Thanks To Ceasefire

In an official statement released on April 14, the terrorist group listed the new brigades as it follows:

The Talhah ibn Ubaydullah Brigade, led by Abu Hafs Binnish;

The Ali ibn Abi Talib Brigade, led by Abu Baker Mheen;

The Zubayr ibn al-Awam Brigade, led by Abu Mohamad Shura.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer: Michigan Protesters ‘Endangering People’s Lives’

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer lashed out at the freedom protesters who surrounded the capitol on Wednesday, telling reporters they were “endangering people’s lives.”

Breitbart News reported live from the scene, which featured hundreds of people on the capitol lawn and thousands more in their cars, honking horns, blasting patriotic music, and waving American flags.

Whitmer, whom Joe Biden has said is on his short list for the vice presidential nomination, denounced the protesters, who were calling on her to rescind the onerous restrictions she had placed on the state’s citizens and let them go back to work.

“We know that this demonstration is going to come at a cost to people’s health,” Whitmer told reporters.

“We know that when people gather that way without masks, they were within close proximity, they were touching one another, that that’s how COVID-19 spreads,” she said.

She went on to blame the protesters for further restrictions she may impose in the future.

“So the sad irony here is that the protest is that they don’t like being in this stay home order,” she said, “and they may have just created the need to lengthen it.”

She said she wouldn’t predict that “a certain percentage” of protesters would fall ill, “but I know that, just by congregating, they’ve made that a real possibility, that they’ve endangered other people’s lives.”

Breitbart News observed many protesters wearing masks and maintaining social distances, but witnessed no handshakes or other forms of physical contact.

A spokeswoman for the Michigan Conservative Coalition said she was overwhelmed by the response.

Pelosi: ‘Shameful’ Trump’s Name Appearing on Stimulus Checks

Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said it was “shameful” President Donald Trump’s name will appear on the coronavirus stimulus checks.

Host Jake Tapper asked, “What’s your take on President Trump’s name appearing on these stimulus checks?”

Pelosi said, “Shameful. In other words, people are really desperate to get a check.”

She continued, “Let me put it in perspective. The three things that really anger the American people, there are others, but three of them are, one, that our first responders, our health care workers, our police and fire, all the people in food and other essential workers, do not have the equipment that they need to keep themselves safe as they manage to attend to the needs of others, that they do not have the ventilators and other equipment to save lives that are in their charge. That’s one.”

She added, “The second is, they want their checks. They want their unemployment check. They want their direct payment check. They want their PPP, the Paycheck Protection Program, checks to come forward, and they’re not seeing that. And the third thing they want is for us not to have any of the billions of dollars that have gone to big business, to help keep people employed. They don’t want any of that to be used to enrich shareholders, buybacks, bonuses, dividends, CEO pay, and the rest of that. So if you put those three things there, that’s what we do in the CARES Act, is to make all of this something that would happen. But again, the entree, the door opening, the threshold to cross into opening up our economy, is through testing, testing, testing.”
